I grew up in Baker, WV and graduated from East Hardy High School in 1994. I received a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Eastern Mennonite University in 1998. I began working as a financial advisor with American Express Financial Advisors in 1999 and attained the Series 7 and 66 registrations, currently held by LPL Financial, and the Virginia Life and Health Insurance license. I became a franchisee of American Express Financial Advisors in 2000 and continued in that role through their transition to Ameriprise Financial. In October of 2007, I formed my own company, Payplus Capital, with LPL Financial as my broker/dealer. In December of 2007, I attained the Series 24 registration, currently held by LPL Financial.

As the President of Payplus Capital, I do my best to live and help others as detailed in “Our Philosophy.” I try to live a life of compassion, kindness, peace, and balance in an attempt to be the best version of myself and to share these values with others. I continually learn from experiences and work on areas that need improvement. The strategies and concepts I use today are a direct result of this honesty and self-reflection.

I enjoy research, reading, and spending time with my wife, Melissa, and son, Will. I appreciate the peacefulness and slower pace of the country and live in Port Republic, VA.
